Here’s how to find all of your Gmail accounts, from basic checks to more thorough methods:
1. Check Your Current Browser
-
Chrome/Edge: Click your profile icon in the top right → see all signed-in accounts.
-
Google Account Page: Go to myaccount.google.com → click your profile photo (if multiple are listed, you’ll see them here).
-
Gmail App (Mobile): Tap your profile picture → manage accounts.
2. Try Account Recovery
If you think you have forgotten accounts, use Google’s account recovery:
-
Enter any email or phone number you’ve used → follow prompts.
-
Google will show accounts linked to that recovery info.
3. Search Your Email
Search in your known Gmail inbox for:
-
from:googleorfrom:googleaccount -
“welcome to gmail” -
“google account” -
Look for old sign-up confirmations.
4. Check Password Managers
Open your password manager (like Google Password Manager, LastPass, Dashlane, etc.) and search for:
-
gmail.com -
google.com/account
5. Use “Sign in with Google”
Visit a site that uses “Sign in with Google” (e.g., YouTube, Medium, etc.) and click sign-in — you may see a list of accounts you’ve used.
6. Security Checkup
Go to myaccount.google.com/security-checkup and review:
-
Your devices → see accounts logged in.
-
Third-party access → see accounts used to sign into apps.
7. Try Forgot Email
On the Gmail login page, click “Forgot email?” → enter recovery phone number or alternate email → Google will list associated accounts.
8. Check Old Phones & Devices
Look at old smartphones, tablets, or computers where you might still be logged in.
9. Review Linked Accounts
If you have one known Google Account, go to:
-
Google Dashboard (myaccount.google.com/dashboard) → see services but not all accounts.
-
Connected accounts in settings (for linking/unlinking other emails).
10. Prevent Overlooked Accounts
-
Use a consistent recovery email/phone for all accounts.
-
Keep a secure list of your accounts.
